Penntex is honored to announce that the SEA BOX, Inc. manufacturing facility expansion project has been recognized with an Award of Merit (manufacturing project category) in the 2024 Engineering News-Record (ENR) New York Regional Best Projects Awards. Submitted projects were evaluated by an independent judging panel of construction leaders on the project team’s ability to overcome challenges, as well as aspects of safety, construction/design quality, and contribution to the industry and communities throughout New York and New Jersey.
This recognition highlights the outstanding efforts of our dedicated team, who worked diligently throughout this complex project to balance a critical delivery timeline and ensure client operations in existing spaces remained up and running throughout construction—all while maintaining a steadfast commitment to safety. From adding a 4-story addition and constructing a space tall enough to house internal cranes to completing infrastructure improvements so all facilities were seamlessly joined together, this project required strategic planning and integrated collaboration with our valued client partners to achieve key milestones and deliver value.
