At Penntex, safety is a deeply held tenet of our company culture, and we believe every team member has a responsibility to do their part as we strategically advance on our continuous journey toward safety excellence. We are honored to recognize the efforts of the Penntex Construction team for once again achieving a significant safety milestone by earning the prestigious Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) STEP Safety Management System diamond-level designation (the highest available award level) for the second year in a row.
A world-class safety initiative, the ABC STEP program is a key benchmarking tool that allows the company to assess safety performance annually and identify areas for further improvement. This structured performance evaluation process helps our team stay focused on continually raising safety standards across all aspects of our work. Qualifying for the diamond-level certification, the most rigorous in the program, reflects Penntex’s dedication to continuously enhancing safety protocols by investing in advanced training, state-of-the-art equipment, and refined processes. Key factors behind the company’s sustained achievement include a proactive approach to safety management and fostering a culture of collaboration that prioritizes employee wellbeing.
“Every team member has a responsibility to ‘walk the walk’ every day when it comes to safety,” shared Penntex President Jim Hoolehan. “Our shared commitment to ‘Think Safe, Work Safe and Go Home Safe’ is rooted in a safety culture that emphasizes proactive preparation, continuous learning, and intentional investments. I’m proud of the team for continuing to raise the safety bar for themselves and for one another.”
