The project scope included creating foundations for overhead cranes, upgrades to MEP systems throughout the building, and build-out of employee spaces. Each of these project aspects presented complexities that our team worked through in collaboration with all project stakeholders. Highlights include:
- Penntex installed reinforced foundations to stabilize the high-capacity cranes needed for moving and assembling large industrial blower components. This required the Penntex team to join together with Fuller Technologies Inc. engineers to map out machinery footprints and ensure precise system integration.
- The Penntex team carefully integrated robust power distribution, air lines, and mechanical systems to accommodate significant electrical loads that Fuller Technologies Inc. operations require on a daily basis and ensure reliability for future expansion.
- With workplace comfort and safety top of mind, Penntex built out break rooms, locker rooms, and restrooms for manufacturing personnel, emphasizing durable finishes that stand up to industrial usage.
Streamlined Coordination to Ensure a Successful Project Outcome
From project kick-off through completion, the Penntex team maintained close communication with JWDP II and Fuller Technologies Inc. to ensure that scheduling, procurement, and installations were carried out efficiently—minimizing disruptions and unexpected costs—and ultimately ensuring completion on time and on budget.
