The Project Engineer – Intern will assist the Project Manager with all the activities required to manage their projects. As you are assigned to a Project Manager, the Project Manager will mentor, give guidance and training needed to accomplish as much as the intern can achieve during their coop period. This will include but not be limited to assisting with generating RFI’s, gathering and tracking Submittals, coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and owner representatives, estimating, project scheduling, generating meeting minutes, weekly and monthly progress reports, and project close out.
Penntex utilizes the web based Procore construction management program to efficiently manage our projects along with Microsoft Project or SureTrak to generate construction schedules. Project sizes range from $2 million to over $60 million and can take anywhere from 3 months to 2 years to complete.

Recommended qualifications and skills needed to perform job:
- Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
- As our business is dealing with people, it is important to feel comfortable dealing with people and to have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
