grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of their new
345,000 square foot baking facility located at 4300
South 26th Street in the former Naval Yard of
“The state-of-the-art plant - hailed as the
"largest green bakery in the world" - is a new edition
of the six-story Tasty factory that had been a landmark
in North Philadelphia's Nicetown section for 88 years”.
Utilizing highly automated ovens from Australia and
Lititz, Pa., and its "straight-line flow" from
production to packaging to warehouse, their new facility
is much more efficient than their former plant.

Job Site Products, located on Township Line
Rd. in Skippack, PA is well underway. The
new 26,000 SF facility is a pre-engineered
metal building (PEMB) manufactured by Butler
which includes a 2,000 SF office area. The
balance of the floor space is being
dedicated to warehouse storage which
includes energy- efficient motion activated
strip fluorescent hi-bay lighting. The
exterior walls of the building are being
constructed of insulated metal siding panel
and split-faced masonry accent block around
the bottom perimeter of the building and the
roof is Butler’s patented MR-24 standing
seam metal roof system with one of longest
standard warranty periods in the PEMB
industry. Work is scheduled to be completed
on the project in August 2012.

Cream Company-500 Chesterfield Parkway, Malvern, PA
One-story 68,000 square foot freezer and
warehouse building constructed for Jack & Jill Ice Cream
Company – located in Commodore Business Center, Logan
Gloucester County, NJ.
Penn Terminals selected Penntex to
renovate their existing 220,000 SF
warehouse. Located in Eddystone, PA, on the
Delaware River between the Philadelphia
Airport and the Commodore Barry Bridge, Penn
Terminals is an import/export facility. The
project has consisted of stripping the
building of its roof and wall panels, most
of which contained asbestos, and installing
new standing seam roofing, siding panels,
new office TI, new electrical gear,
lighting, and power distribution, new
loading ramp and loading docks, new laser
fire alarm system, re-located shop, new
exhaust fan system for smoke evacuation,
carbon monoxide evacuation, and fresh air
intake, new oversized overhead coiling
doors, and a new heavily reinforced concrete
floor system. The project is being
coordinated in phases to accommodate
continued occupancy and use by Penn
Terminals. The project is scheduled to be
completed in late June, 2012.

Construction of a 187,000 square foot
concrete tilt-wall warehouse and distribution facility
for ULINE Corp., located in Breinigsville, PA. The
building was started in November of 2006 and completed
June 15, 2007 - the building has 32' clear ceilings, 44
dock doors with levelers and seals, battery charging
station, and 6,000 square feet of office space.
League Island Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19112
Originally located in Camden New Jersey,
AppTec Inc., a human gene and virus research company
chose to locate their new one-story 85,000 square foot
research and development facility in the Philadelphia
Naval Business Center. Developed by Liberty Property
Trust, this is the first building to be built in the
former naval yard in
over thirty-five years.
